Using economics as an analogy to understand diabetes
Abstract
Education is the best tool to keep patients susceptible to chronic diseases stable and motivated about self care, because this help them to deepen their understanding of their diseases and risks. However, it is not always possible to apply clear, didactic and involving models. For this reason, a good analogy of education applied in healthcare is economics applied to diabetes, as presented in this article.
