CI, confidence interval. OR, odds ratio. P, Chi-square test. Ref. indicates the reference category used to calculate the OR. IUD, intrauterine device.

Type of sociodemographic, behavioral, and clinical risk factors associated with cervical dysplasia in women who attended a Peruvian hospital for the period from 2017 to 2019. Adjusted odds ratios and 95% confidence intervals were calculated using multivariate logistic regression. Models were adjusted for the following variables: age (<35/equal to or greater than 35 years), marital status (with/without a partner), origin (rural/urban), body mass index (equal to or greater than 25/<25), number of sexual partners (>3/≤3), presence of bacterial vaginosis (yes/no), and number of deliveries (equal to or greater than 3/<3). The variables included were selected for their clinical relevance and significance in univariate analyses (p < 0.05).
