Temporal trends in Chile showing the parallel decline of intrahepatic cholestasis during pregnancy incidence and typhoid fever rates. The peak of both conditions was observed in the 1970s to 1980s, followed by a marked reduction since the 1990s, coinciding with improvements in public health measures and sanitation.
