Eva Madrid

Eva Madrid graduated as a physician from the Universidad de Chile and holds a European Master 's degree and a PhD in Medicine from the Universidad de Granada. She holds a postgraduate degree in Molecular Biology from the Universidad de Valparaíso and a Diploma in Biostatistics awarded by the Universidad de Chile. She did postdoctoral work at the Harvard School of Public Health during 2014-2015. She is a senior full professor at the Universidad de Valparaíso, teaching undergraduates at the School of Medicine as well as in some Medical Specialties and Engineering and Health Sciences Doctoral Programme. She carries out biomedical studies in research methodology and evidence-based medicine and is the Director of the Cochrane Associate Centre at the Universidad de Valparaíso. She is also a member of the Research Ethics Advisory Committee of the Chilean Health Ministry (CMEIS).
